Konica Minolta uses state-of-the-art technologies to safeguard data and equipment from a variety of security risks. With its many protective functions, bizhub C352 offers a level of security equivalent to ISO15408 (EAL3), the international standard for security. bizhub C352 destroys image data in the hard disk drive by overwriting specially formatted data where the image data is stored, and eliminates the remaining data structure, completely protecting data from recognition, recovery, or leakage against hard disk drive theft.
Moreover, advanced security can be achieved by using the Overwrite Function in combination with the Hard Disk Drive Password Lock Function or the Security Kit (optional). You can set a password as a security lock for important documents that you don't want others to read, such as job estimates and personnel notices.
bizhub C352 offers Copy Protection feature whereby when a document is either printed or copied, the C352 offers a selection of concealed security watermarks, such as “Confidential” or your custom watermarks, which identifies the printouts as reprints. To deter copying by unauthorized people, the watermark becomes visible upon re-copying a watermarked document.

Encrypted PDF is a great addition to the sophisticating scan distribution functionality of the bizhub C line up. An RC4-encrypted PDF file can be created during document scanning. Since password authentication is required to open this encrypted PDF, it enables the safe storage and transmission of confidential documents. Detailed encryption settings can be made for creating encrypted PDFs.
bizhub C352 has a user registration and authentication function built right into the MFP unit. This makes it easy for the Administrator to permit or restrict individual employee use of C352 functions, such as the Box, scan, copy, print and fax functions.
