The bizhub 750 incorporates, for the first time in bizhub series (along with bizhub 600) bizhub OP - a new control system defined as Open Platform - to respond quickly and flexibly to the rapid changes in market needs and ever-diversified customisation requirements. As an advanced office-use B&W MFP with high-quality 75 ppm/cpm output, the 750 gives faster speed, enhanced durability and capability to respond to multiple jobs. You can expect effective large-volume document handling and professional finishing in an open, yet secure print network environment.
The bizhub OP consists of three elements; bizhub Architecture that controls all functions seamlessly for enhanced productivity and security, bizhub Open API for flexible customisation realised by opening the protocol to the third party vendors, and the advanced Emperon Print System that achieves outstanding performance and integrates document output management with an easy-to-use interface. The cross-functional design, and open platform of the 750 simplify device functions to suit your workflow, streamline production and offer ubiquitous functionality and efficiency to significantly reduce working hours.
With output speed of 75 ppm/cpm for both one- and two-sided documents (100% Duplex), the 750 offers a vast range of print and copy features, and supports PCL5E/PCL6 and Post Script3 (with optional controller IC-202) for fast, precise processing. A 2400×600 dpi print resolution with smoothing reproduces images and small text with clear, sharp, fine details. And Konica Minolta's Simitri polymerised toner further enhances print quality. The 750 is precision-designed for long, reliable performance, and to assure consistent, high-quality imaging during continuous printing. For fast operation, warm-up speed is less than 5 minutes - a minute faster than current models - and first copy output only 2.9 seconds.
The optional 40GB internal hard drive can save scan and print data into separate jobs or workgroups, and distribute it to users via FTP, SMB or e-mail. Data handling software PageScope Box Operator previews thumbnails of multiple documents, and PageScope Workware* converts documents into PDF format with advanced editing capabilities.
In addition to scan-to Email, new functions are available; Scan to SMB can send data to connected PCs to be saved without using a dedicated server. Scan to Multi-send eliminates multiple workflow steps by sharing or forwarding data via Box, FTP, SMB and e-mail, simultaneously. For reliable and efficient distribution, faxes can be printed out directly, stored in a designated Box for later viewing, forwarded to client PCs, or sent directly from a PC. Super G3 Fax via standard telephone line is also available.
Advanced security features can limit access to functions (copy/scan/print), set output limits, and deny access to particular servers. User and group authentication can be combined or used separately for further security. Data can be erased from the HDD cache, or the entire HDD overwritten. HDD password lock and SSL encryption protect data transferred over networks, including LDAP information. And all activities can be monitored using Security Log (in development).
The bizhub 750 holds a large paper capacity (max.7,600 A4 sheets with optional tray) to easily handle large uninterrupted jobs. It also offers an advanced array of finishing options - stapling 50 sheets at a time, centre stapling and 2-folding for booklet production, z-folding and filing documents efficiently, and inserting chapter breaks into documents during output with the Post Inserter.
High-visibility is provided by large buttons and LCD screen mounted on a 7 / 15 degree adjustable control panel. The paper supply trays can be opened and closed one-handed and all output trays can be easily reached.
The bizhub 750 uses less energy and produces fewer toxic emissions due to the low-temperature-fixing polymerised toner. It also meets RoHS guidelines by eliminating the use of cadmium, mercury and other dangerous materials.
